Booking Your Room

Invitations will be sent out in the coming weeks. However, if you have already received the Group Promo Code please book your room as soon as possible. This is to ensure that you have a room. Rooms are first come, first serve and there are NO ROOM BLOCKS. Meaning there is NO guarantee that a room is available if you wait to book. Keep in mind, booking a room is a $1.00 hold fee until 30-days before the wedding. You will not be charged for your trip, until December 2025. We will reach out to all guests leading up to December to remind you of the upcoming charge and to update the card on file, if necessary.

TO BOOK YOUR ROOM:

  • Select the Coral Playa Mujeres property

  • Select your travel dates

  • Enter the Group Promo Code (make sure you get the message that the code has been applied)

  • Find your room and select the 3rd option to view price for “Groups Rate”

  • At checkout, add the Promo Code to the comments section

  • Book your room!

  • You should receive a confirmation email. If the email asks you to re-enter your card information, that is normal and you will have 24-hours to respond. If you receive the confirmation email and it does NOT ask you to re-enter your card information, no further action is required.

  • Yes, when you receive the group promo code you will receive almost 50% off the daily room rate on all available rooms.

    When you stay at the Resort you’ll also receive 10% off spa services just for being a part of the wedding celebration!

  • You will receive the group promo code with your invitation.*

    *Prior to invitations going out: If you early RSVP online, you’ll receive the promo code via text shortly after and can book your room at your convenience. Booking requires a $1.00 hold. Charges are processed 30-days prior to your arrival at the resort.

  • No. Choose one-night or all seven, whatever you prefer.

  • We recommend looking at flights as it gets closer to the departure date.

    Anywhere from 6-8 weeks prior to departure date is typically a good time to book. However, be sure to keep an eye out on availability of flights at least 12-16 weeks out.

  • Robby will be gauging interest in group rates for flights traveling to/from the Las Vegas airport. If you are interested in learning more about this option, make sure to note that on your RSVP.

    If there is enough interest noted on the RSVPs in group rates for flights, Robby will reach out to you with additional information (closer to September).

  • The Bride and Groom have stayed at two Excellence properties in an Excellence Club level room. We enjoyed the Club access at a sister property in Mexico, but the Dominican Republic resort was definitely an older feel that didn’t live up to the hype of what we experienced in Mexico.

    With that said, it’s hit or miss from our point of view. However, being that this is a newer property, it might be worth testing out the Excellence Club for yourself!

  • Pickup from the airport to the resort (and back) is provided through the Resort when you book at least a 3-night stay.

    As soon as you have booked your flight, we recommend reaching out to the resort to book transportation. You can do this through the Excellence website (click here).

    For those who are booking for less than 3-nights, we recommend purchasing the $199 roundtrip transfer to/from the airport with Seasons Tours through the Resort.

  • No worries! Follow the steps above to book and refer to the screenshot. If you do not see an option for “Groups Rate” the promo code was not applied to your dates. If the problem continues, please contact reservations at +1 866 211 6223.

  • After you have booked your reservation, The Excellence Collection will email you to confirm your booking and ask that you re-enter your card information for the room hold. Make sure to do this.

    In November, Shannon will reach out to all guests with information regarding the upcoming charge date, transportation, Mexico entry, etc.

  • No. However, you will need to request a day pass to attend the wedding and will only be permitted on property for the events of the wedding day.

    Please let the Bride and Groom know if you will not be staying on property so they can plan accordingly.

    If you are planning to attend the wedding and your passport will expire between January 2026-July2026, you WILL NEED TO RENEW YOUR PASSPORT PRIOR TO TRAVEL.
